Classic!
Along the same theme I was food shopping yesterday and while perusing the Deli counter and salivating at the large array of Chorizo I notice one covered in crushed Chilli flakes. mmmmmmm! Then I see the name. 'Chilli Bum Burner'. So I ask the lady if it does what it says on the tin and she loks at me blankly, I guess they don't have 'Ronseal' over here. So I persist. "is it really really hot?"
"Yes Sir it is"
"Is it so hot it will make my Bum burn?"
"I believe so Sir"
"Sounds excellent. Just the job. I'll take two"
Silence..............
Shop girl - Smirk.........
Shop girl- Stifled snigger...............
Matt - Dawning realisation........
Shop Girl - Giggle
Matt - Decides back tracking would be futile
Matt - Looks deadpan at the girl and says
"Well it wouldn't be fair not to buy Geoffry one would it now"
Shop Girl - goes pale
Matt - "just kidding"
Shop Girl - Relief
Both - Laugh

Ha! Reminds me (sort of) of the time I was in Oz and asked, in a pharmacy, for plasters (I had blisters due to my flip flops ..... or what do the australians call them??) and I got various blank looks. Eventually the staff worked out I meant 'band aids'!!!
