One small step....

It's 10.40pm and I've just written 'Tom C' on a pair of sandals, a water bottle, a lunch box and a hat. I've made little tiny sandwiches (ham and mustard - his favourite), put them in a tiny little blue sandwich box with a tiny little fruit bar and put them all in a massive bag because I couldn't find a tiny little one. I have filled out some forms and it feels like I am about to pack Tom off to boarding school or something. It is actually only his first day at 'Kindy' tomorrow but I have bizarre butterflies in my stomach. It wouldn't be so bad if Lucy were going as well so they could have eachother for company but she is too young for Kindy so he will be flying solo tomorrow. I know he will be fine and have a great time but I am still having what I suppose is' first day at school' syndrome. I'll get over it.
